Keyboards: Buzzy Pads

Ian McIntosh

Ian talks about the other side of keyboard pads, explaining the place that buzzy pads have in a worship song and set.
Useful to add to choruses. It creates shine and a smiley feel. Add reverb to make the sound a lot wider. The high end on choruses is a great place to add a buzzy pad sound. Keyboard players generally use too many sounds in one song. Changing the tonality of the sound through sweeps does a lot for the energy of the song.
