  4. Discipline looks forward, punishment looks backward. 


Trust is so important when you are doing life with your people.

  1. You have to know what your heart and attitude is towards your team. 

  2. Are you trying to control them? 

  3. We need to be responding out of compassion. 

  4. Set clear expectations 

  5. Uphold the standard.

  6. Get buy-in from your team on where you are going. 

  7. You shouldn’t have to convince people to get on board. 

  8. We are gatekeepers. 

  9. Be an impressionable leader.

  10. Create a culture where you aren’t afraid to talk about stuff.

  11. Keep short accounts with your team.

  12. Be really careful not to gossip.


Embrace the things you think you don’t want. 


Be the leader that isn’t afraid of your team's stuff. 


Don’t work on people's stuff more than them.
