“Authority is not being on a stage, authority is what each and everyone one of us are called to.”
It’s a journey. The bible is the core of knowing who He is.
“The second you get saved, you become a leader.”
Walking in authority requires you to be convinced of something.
Demonstration: Jenn plays piano and sings showing us how we need to lead others in worship by being convinced of something.
We need to sing the songs of who God is and who we are through Him.
Sit down with God and write out who you confidently know He is.
The power or right to make decisions.
A convincing force.
“It’s really important to have your convictions sorted.
True and healthy authority has no fear of man
“Beautiful healthy authority listens to wise counsel.”
Authority is humble and confident.
A beautiful leader is fearless to follow the Father.
Healthy authority empowers and encourages.
Loving the people you lead
A healthy authority view is seeing everyone as family.
“We have got to love this busted up, broken, beautiful body of Christ.”
Responding to who the authority is over you
We all have personal responsibility to reach out to our leaders.
We are called to live under authority.
Pray for your leaders.
“Be the person that have courage enough that before you “blab it”, sit with the Holy Spirit and ask Him what to do.”
“There is nothing you can’t get through if you partner with the Holy Spirit.”
I TImothy 2:1-2 Most of all, I’m writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God. Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. And pray for every political leader and representative, so that we would be able to live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts.
